The warm soft reddish orange tones in copper makes it a great interior finish. Always popular, a copper finish works well teamed with natural stone, granite or brick along with any wood surface. This versatile finish oozes charm and is often found around the home in kitchens, on furniture, accessories and room decoration. But copper finishing is also be used in a variety of commercial projects such as restaurant furbishing, reception desks, exhibition stands (fixtures and fittings), sign-work and lettering, room panelling and sculpture etc. As with all of our metal coating finishes, copper AM.6 may be applied to a variety of substrates.
AM.6 Copper is real molten metal applied coating then finished accordingly to the required specification.
We have three variants of AM.6 Copper
A. Our standard copper finish has a sandcast texture, not too bright in tone but features a soft sheen.
B. Aged copper finish also has a sandcast finish but is a shade darker than our standard copper, again featuring a soft sheen.
C. Smooth is lighter in shade. This finish is polished to provide a gentle reflective sheen and looks especially attractive on irregular curvy substrates where its shine is more apparent. Polished copper can be achieved to varying degrees. Call our office for more information on this finish.
NB: As with all our finishes, they are hand finished and random by nature. Because of this when the finish is used on large areas, there will be variation in tone and markings but this is to be expected and is part of the beauty, (as with all non ferrous metals).
